Renovo R4 Pursuit, Wenge, Padauk, SapeleThe Renovo R4 Pursuit has wood stays--no more old fashioned carbon stays on Renovo bikes.

The Pursuit is a stiff, powerful and lightweight frame; it's a joy to ride and it never fails to be the center of attention in any gathering of bikes. The wood stays exceed the stiffness of the carbon stays we used previously, with very little weight penalty. Depending on the desired ride quality, they can exceed the stiffness of the Carbon Cervelo S2 or be softer as the customer desires.

 

The R4 Pursuit Road frame standard configuration:

  • All-wood rear end with aluminum dropouts and derailleur hanger
  • Arched, laminated top tube
  • Steel head tube insert for non-integrated 1 1/8" head set
  • Aluminum seat tube insert and clamp for seat post
